It’s that time of the year again when we celebrate the love around us and are thankful for the special people in our lives. Even though you don’t have a beloved other half to spend it with (which is my case too), it’s never too late to treat yourself on Valentine’s Day. You deserve the same amount of love as all other couples, so there’s no reason to be sad about it!

On this day I decided to start the morning with a tasty meal, customized with some specific V-Day deliciousness. I made a bunch of vanilla pancakes, smeared with peanut butter and sprinkled with tiny sugar hearts for me and my family. As a personal preference, we brewed some coffee too, it is the best beverage that boosts our mood for the day. Also, I spent quite a lot of time watching some YouTube specials and reading a few extracts from one of my favourite choices of romance books, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. That’s my kind of relaxing Valentine’s!

There’s no need to sob and long for someone on this day, that special moment will come some time! But for now, we can be happy and alone together. Just don’t feel bummed out because of a celebration, be yourself and go on cheerfully! And who knows, you may as well take full advantage of those Valentine’s Day sales out there. ๐Ÿ˜‰
